1)I had add a light layer of shading and slowly darkened it, bringing out the darks and lightening the lights.
2)I found the different values by staring at my picture until I decided that it didn’t match the one I drew and adding where I felt it needed to be added. 3)I think I acheived a full range of values, by slowly darkening and lightening until I felt like it was good. 4)I believe that my art is made fairly well and that the craftsmenship is good. 5)I was able to successfully capture the look of my face. 6)I made sure that I had the correct placement of my facial features by using the eyes as a measurement tool. 7) The importance of learning to draw all of the features individually is to learn how to shade each and perfect drawing the certain features before doing them all. 8)I think the lips were most benificial beacuse I am quite literally the worst at lips. 9)I had to deal with being absent and missing out on the entire eye part but I was able to learn fairly quickly and caught up. 1) The subject matter is a diver exploring a coral reef. The meaning is that I may be over my head in work and stress, but yet I am completley at ease with what I am seeing.
2) I was going to try to use texture to show the differences in coral and sand but I never got the chance to. 3)I tried to balance the artwork by having a foreground, middleground, and a background. 4)I implied movement by using the bubbles to show where the dived had come from. 5) I could improve my artwork by actually finishing it for once. 6) I had a wide variety of shading value by showing where the light hits on the stalagtites and on the diver. 1: I believe that I did create a interesting point of view and that is was successful because it looks foreshortened.
2: It is important to understand how to draw perspective so that when you draw something it is still to scale. 3: The exercises didn't really help, considering that I drew fur instead of anything smooth, but I'm sure it would have helped. 4: The background is very well crafted, but the foreground needs help. 5: I did achieve a background, middleground, and foreground, because you can see the differences in the shades and such. 6: I love using the prisma color pencils and I had fun experimenting with the blending capabilities. The obstacles were my abilities to create the illusion of fur. The advantages were that I could get some small details. 7: I would have liked to be taught how to draw fur, but I didn't want to wait and went on before I was supposed to. I felt like I was prepared before hand.... afterwards....... not as much. 1: I believe that my craftsmanship of this piece is good if not great because it is very well blended, with fairly clean edges, and the space is defined.
2: My values and shadows are realistic because they have many varying values as well as defined darks and lights. Values are realistic to show the different tones in the shadows and how the shadows fade into the light. 3: Yes there is a clear source of light 4: They were important to show me want not to do when I do the final. 5: The final ended up having a lot more varying values in the shadows and lights as well as defined lights. 6: For the most part they are correct but somethings are a bit bigger than they are in real life. 7: Yes I believe that the composition is pleasing. 8: yes there is a central focus that is well located. 9: I managed my time by listening to music to drown out the sounds of people talking. I could improve by not always listening to the same bands over and over again. (Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, and the Hamilton soundtrack) 10: I didn't want to do the ribbon but I got over it by just doing it. 11: I have learned that shading is important and how to successfully shade. I loved doing the shading on the white because of how easy it is to blend the colors and make a nice gradient.
These took me a long time but I am very proud of how they turned out! I love the way that the shading looks.
i like these because most of them turned out really well, (except for number one) and they look pretty good! I like the second one the best because of how the fingers turned out.
